X Trip 2/18/2010

We traveled the coast. Felt the wind in our hair. Saw some whales. Visited the fish. And all came back for an afternoon nap. Some of us had just gotten married.

Whale Watch 2/10/2010

Today we got to spend some time with a mom and baby as they stayed around at the surface for quite some time and we drifted with them. The bond between mother and calf very apparent in our observations. They didn't seem to mind the boat and we ate snacks, drank juices and watched. Just like being at the movies Next time we bring popcorn? Susan K

Whale Watch 2/12/2010

Captain Kyle, Susan and whale watchers today traveled the coast of Kona and did indeed find whales. Also, the awesome winter swells made for amazing wave watching from out on the boat so included was some coastal exploration. Lots of great photo opportunities as we traveled from pod to pod of Humpback whales.
